Signature Foods opened for business in 2004 as a co-packer and support manufacturer for other food companies. Later, we developed our own brands and positioned ourself competitively with a myriad of regional and national brands of frozen food products including private label. What makes us different is our ability to identify frozen food opportunities that may be too small or insignificant for large manufacturers and provide a higher level of service than expected at an excellent cost to you, our most valued customer.
Company founders, Tom Southworth and Chuck McAtee together bring nearly 50 years of experience in the food industry, working for large food manufacturing and marketing companies. Over the first 10 years, they have grown the Signature Foods business and brands to over $60 million in annual gross sales revenue, and in 2011, the company was again recognized, for the fourth consecutive year, by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest growing private firms in America, ranking 127th overall and 1st among Food and Beverage Firms.
